This June ends the pilot phase of the Generation Action project, in operation since January 2024 for schools in Malaga and the province. The project was led by CIFAL Málaga-UNITAR and the Spanish Olympic Committee, with the support of Iberdrola, the collaboration of the Junta de Andalucía, the support of the Higher Sports Council and the technical development of the app and the website by the Trilema Foundation. During these six months, the participating schools have taught the students the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the values of sport, and workshops that the app was proposing. After carrying out these activities, teachers must upload the evidence to the platform. At this point, the evaluation committee, following the evaluation criteria, scored the activities developed by each school. Once the count is over, the winning centers will receive a visit from renowned Olympic athletes, who will present them with a prize and an economic endowment.
