Action Learning focuses on increasing learning capacity of executives in governments, organisations, businesses, civil society, trade unions, academia, etc., while responding to a real global challenge in a multidisciplinary and multi-stakeholder approach. Critical peer-to-peer reflection is an important part of the experience. This experience of ‘exchange’ can generate new approaches across sectors, and help build systemic innovation and problem solving skills.

This SDG Workshop allows participants to use the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs as a holistic framework for their organisations plans and sustainability strategies.

Implementing the UN declarations, principles and guidelines with focus on local capacity building for Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.

- Introduction to Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals
- Interactive brainstorm sessions with our organisation-specific SDG-circle
- Reflection of best practices and challenges in the light of the 5 P's and the 17 SDGs

- Small interactive groups with own SDG-circle
- Debriefing and Q&a in plenum

Action-Learning Methodology: learning activities include, among others, an interactive lecture and self-assessment exercises.
The central purpose of CIFAL Flanders is to develop and strengthen human capacities to better respond to development challenges.

CIFAL Flanders relies on an Action Learning approach that aims to:
- Facilitate the transfer of knowledge, experiences and best practices amongst government officials, private sector and civil society leaders
- Enhance capabilities to effectively perform relevant tasks
- Encourage cooperation and the development of multi-stakeholder partnerships

At CIFAL Flanders, every Action Learning for Sustainability Leadership begins with:
- The theoretical frame
- A period of strategic questioning of the problem
- Action items and goals
- Analyzing and reflection
